As an Asian DCDP, you will play a vital role in supporting the kitchen team in delivering high-quality food and maintaining kitchen operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their culinary skills and grow within a professional kitchen environment.

Core Responsibilities:

Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your assigned section. Supervise and guide Commis chefs and kitchen assistants, ensuring tasks are completed to standard. Ensure all mise en place is prepared, organized, and ready for service according to recipes and portioning guidelines. Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize wastage. Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within your workstation and section. Support the Chef de Partie in monitoring food quality, consistency, and presentation during service. Assist in receiving deliveries, checking quality, and ensuring supplies are stored correctly. Operate and care for kitchen equipment responsibly, reporting any malfunctions or maintenance needs. Follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times, ensuring compliance with kitchen policies. Demonstrate continuous learning and development of culinary techniques to progress towards Chef de Partie responsibilities. Collaborate with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely service, especially during peak periods.
