Your role

Are you passionate about building Data platforms across all different regions? Do you want to help set and implement the direction and strategy for the Global Data Management environments? Are you motivated to work in a complex, diverse and global environment? We are looking for Data base Engineer to join our team and help us to:

• create/Manage new on boarding projects
• setup and maintain Microsoft Azure Data Explorer platform environments

• ensure "lights onaEUR support - services are up and running in all environments, App/Dev - UAT
• implement Security Standards and roles, maintain & improve existing deployment and build mechanisms using Azure Power Shell scripting

• support New product Proof of Concept projects and provide innovative input into satisfying global IT data requirements

Your team

You'll be working in the Asset Management Technology team based in one of our offices worldwide. Our team makes sure that we deliver robust, secure, modern, flexible business applications for UBS Asset Management by adopting, evangelizing, teaching and implementing cloud, Agile and DevOps concepts across the division. We care deeply about continuous improvement of the development process through automation. We use Scrum and apply Agile practices. There is also considerable formal and informal opportunity to learn financially how a bank works.

You'll play a major role in making sure we achieve these business and technology objectives.

Your expertise

excellent knowledge of Azure Power Shell scripting, for deploying the resources like Azure Storage, Azure Data Explorer, Post gres, oracle

• Excellent ETL knowledge and expertise
• Excellent knowledge and hands on - informatica
• good knowledge of Azure Data Storage environments like Blob, ADLSG2 and it's configurations
• SQL Databases especially for on prem and cloud
• proven ability to configure and deploy private cloud infrastructure on Azure
• Manage and maintain diffarent DB environment
• confidence and mature experience working in an Microsoft Azure Eco system and/or support environment
• bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in an Information Technology field
• experience in working large projects or small teams as well as Administering a Microsoft PaaS environment in distributed team
