Job Description
Experience level required (and why):
- Preferably 4+ years of experience working with IBM IIS Admin.
- Required for easy transition into role and join on-call group which is high priority.
- Maintain and user support of IBM IIS on-prem solution.
- Investigation, debugging and root cause analysis of jobs.
- Main stakeholders: developers, operational teams across tribes
- Queries: production backup, query incidents, manage PMR tickets (IBM)
- Be point-of-contact for incident management.
- Join in on-call group (currently 2 people in on-call group).
- Familiar with IBM IIS tool (version 11.7) ? DataStage, FastTrack, IGC and IA
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting expertise.
- Familiar working with Linux/scripting
- IBM IIS installation/migration experience ? How can we lift IBM IIS to cloud or migrate to another tool?
Nice to have
- Experience in concepts of DWH
- Experience with cloud ? next step is moving to cloud. Tool not defined.
- Experience working in international cooperation with many stakeholders.
