Responsibilities : Excellent understanding of IT architecture, concepts and solutions and broad foundational knowledge in Database domain. Ability to understand and analyze client requirements in Database and DR area (Administration and Migration) and propose pragmatic solutions Develop solutions, proposal, effort estimation and presentation for Database Develop Architecture, high level and low-level Database design drawings and design documents. Ability to quickly produce PowerPoint slides which are both content rich and visually appealing Support developers for efficient SQL query and performance and Provide DB2 Database Administration Additional Responsibilities: Mandatory to have skills/experience (Apply only if you have experience as mentioned below) : DB2 database deployment, Cluster configuration, Migration/Upgrade experience Technical and Professional Requirements: Experience in creating IBM DB2 architectures and designs that meets High availability, Disaster recovery, Replication, backup and recovery on Private cloud (X86) and public cloud platforms. Experience in building security integrations, hardening, performance optimization , capacity planning for DB2 platforms. Experience in building database operation solutions that spread across Monitoring , Patching, Upgrades and Troubleshooting techniques Define and design logical and physical database design Design singlemulti-data center architectures for high availability & Disaster Recovery to meet RPO & RTO needs Experience in automating database build , provisioning using shell/ powershell/python/ansible or any other scripting technologies Experience in installation and configuring and tuning database and queries for improved performance, capacity planning and developing standards and best practices going forward with Development teams.
