Database Specialist
Location: India- - Remote is fine
Key Responsibilities
- Assess database landscape across SQL/NoSQL systems under RaMP.
- Validate performance, resiliency, backup strategies, and migration readiness.
- Recommend modernization paths (Cloud SQL, AlloyDB, Spanner, BigQuery).
- Perform DB health checks, optimization reviews, and security gap analysis.
- 6-10 years in database admin/engineering.
- Hands-on with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, NoSQL (MongoDB/Firestore).
- Strong understanding of Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and migration tooling (DMS).
- Certifications in DB technologies or GCP Data Engineer preferred.
