Database Engineer Ms Sql
Job Description
We've been engaged by a large European Bank to provide resources to their Markets Program development team working on a wide range of projects like CTB changes, risk, and regulatory projects, version upgrades, etc.
Responsibilities
1. Understand a set of existing components so they can be enhanced and maintained.
2. Produces detailed low-level designs from high-level design specifications for components of low-level complexity.
3. Develops, builds and unit tests components from detailed low-level designs.
4. Carries out unit testing on own developed code, developing test harnesses if necessary.
5. Applies all relevant standards and procedures to own work.
6. Accurately records own time and accurately reports progress on own work.
7. Complies with all confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures the security of information at all times.
Skills
Must have
- 5+ years of working experience in MS SQL
- Hands on development experience on T-SQL store procedure
- Hands on development experience on Unix OS
- Experience in small to medium size project enhancements, with SDLC knowledge
- Experience in conducting user discussions, managing UAT, managing implementation
