Primary Responsibilities: Experience \xe2\x80\x93 12-14 Years (with at least 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Architect role) Key Technical Skills -

• Good Understanding of Oracle Architecture Concepts.

• Experienced in defining & realizing end-to-end Database Architecture for large scale enterprise systems.

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent experience in improving performance and scalability of very large databases (1 Terabyte+) supporting large number of transactions /users \xe2\x80\x93 Oracle or MS SQL. \xe2\x97\x8f Hands-on work experience on the latest technologies w.r.t to ORACLE with RAC, MS SQL, MySQL and Postgres Database. \xe2\x97\x8f Parameter level optimization for OS and database level. \xe2\x97\x8f Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills. \xe2\x97\x8f Good understanding of reading Execution plan and AWR report. \xe2\x97\x8f Expertise in both instance level and SQL level tuning. Excellent experience in tuning complex queries, optimizing code & implementation of best coding practices. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to analyze and solve performance issues in H/w \xe2\x80\x93 servers, storage, LAN & WAN. \xe2\x97\x8f Good understanding of undelaying Operating system and troubleshooting skills for the same. \xe2\x97\x8f Experience of conducting Scalability test and benchmarks for enterprise applications \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in either of these areas is a definite add-on \xe2\x80\x93 App Servers (WebLogic, WebSphere), Middleware (TIBCO, MSMQ), Infrastructure sizing, Capacity planning, Performance modeling, Cloud Computing. Other requirements \xe2\x80\x93 \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in interfacing with the customers. \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in consulting engagements is a definite plus. \xe2\x97\x8f Ability to mentor development teams and guide them in resolving complex performance and scalability issues encountered in projects. \xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of latest technologies and tools in the Database space and an ability to evaluate, select and propose tools and technologies to meet the requirements. \xe2\x97\x8f Excellent written and verbal communication skills \xe2\x97\x8f Tolerance to ambiguities. \xe2\x97\x8f Understanding and knowledge about the latest APM tools.
