Job Description
As a Database Architect will contribute to various phases and activities of the software development process or software testing. Candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking, team environment, the engineer works with tech Lead, software engineers, internal partners, and stakeholders.
- Key Responsibilities: Should have immense knowledge on NoSQL databases, mostly into MongoDB
- Should be able to install, deploy and manage production databases span across different data centers on virtual machines
- Manage the Infra backups and recoveries and guide team with better guidelines.
- Configure and monitor numerous MongoDB instances and replica sets across different data centers.
- Thorough Knowledge on Ops Manager installation and managing deployments with the same.
- Complete understanding and experience on Sharded Deployments and maintenance.
- Thorough knowledge on indexes, create and rebuild
- Automate routine tasks with scripts and open-source tools
- Performance tuning, in order to derive high throughput
- Skills Required: Must have more than 8 years of experience in handling databases, preferably NoSQL databases
- Skills to administer MongoDB deployments, incidents and handling support for the same.
- MongoDB DB admin experience is must
- Good to have experience in Cassandra.
