Job overview and responsibilities As a Database Administrator - Redshift, this position will work closely with development and DevOps teams with a focus on Databases technologies, including Redshift, RDS, Athena and as well as Data Pipeline, Glue to help manage, maintain and support different environments within Data Engineering team. Engage with Data Engineering and DevOps team (including internal customers) for Redshift/RDS database administration initiatives Actively work with Database administration, performance tuning, management and security of AWS Redshift deployment and enterprise data warehouse Provide technical support for all database environments including development/pre-production/production databases for the organization Responsible for setting up of infrastructure, configuring, maintenance, monitoring of environment including security to support cloud environment working along with DE and Cloud Engineering Develop and implement innovative solutions leading to automation This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Qualifications Required Bachelor\'s degree in Computer science or related STEM field 3+ years of IT experience 2+ years in AWS Redshift production environment 2+ years of experience with relational database systems like Oracle, Teradata 2+ years\' experience with Cloud migration of existing apps to AWS (on premise) Excellent and proven knowledge of Postgres/SQL on Amazon RDS Excellent and proven knowledge of SQL Scripting language - Python or similar Must be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship Must be fluent in English (written and spoken) Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position Preferred Master\'s degree in Computer science or related STEM field Certified Developer / DevOps/Architect on AWS Equal Opportunity Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled/LGBT
