Job Summary:

The OCIO Data Catalyst/Strategist is expected to be a thought leader that designs and evolves the Data and Analytics strategy for Office of the CIO (OCIO). This role has responsibility for identifying critical information to support OCIO performance management measurement systems to be shared consistently across the company. The Data Catalyst/Strategist will show the value of data and analytics by selling the benefits up, down, and across all levels of the function. They will partner with other data professionals to leverage best practices, creating standard work for how we report and monitor KPIs, to determine business initiative and functional success. The Data Catalyst/Strategist will collaborate with Business Operations Leaders across IT to define, maintain, and report on the metrics that will be followed to track the progress of IT achievements against objectives. This is not limited to the IT organization's scorecard, but also includes the contribution of IT to business performance.

Responsibilities:

Road-mapping, Strategy, and Standards

• Develop and maintain data architecture strategy and partners with delivery teams to implement solutions
• Collaborates with Enterprise IT architects on best design approach for new data sets and prove viability through proof of concepts
• Develops a deep understanding of existing data structures and maps key requirements to optimal data sources Visualization and Performance Management
• Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize key data analytics opportunities and develops solutions to support performance management
• Coordinate benchmarking and maturity exercises as necessary
• Work with Business Operations and IT Leaders to understand data product and visualization needs
• Deliver insights to stakeholders, bridging analytics knowledge and functional knowledge
• Create reports and dashboards for IT teams utilizing graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data where appropriate

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience developing applications/ system design supporting data and analytics
• Data architecture, analysis, and design experience
• Strategic experience partnering with business leaders and teams
• Tableau (or other visualization), Alteryx, SQL
• Familiar with Data ETL (extract transform load) processes
• Familiarity working in Agile/Scrum
• Requirements discovery and documentation experience
• Report/dashboard development experience
• Microsoft Suite, including Teams and Project Server
• Experience in the ITSM space preferred
• Familiarity with ServiceNow product platform preferred
