Inviting applications for the role of Data Scientist, Manager/ Senior Manager
We are looking for data scientists responsible for solving business problems like forecasting, segmentation, classification using statistical and data science techniques. The data scientist is expected to have proven experience as a data scientist with extensive experience in analytical modelling and is able to work independently right from understanding the business problem through the development & deployment of models. Experience in life sciences and health care industry preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex analytics and consulting projects for a large US based medical devices and Pharma clients
• Build PoVs, help structure POCs, front-end clients, and respond to RFP/RFIs
• Define end to end solution for business problems including technology architecture
• Developing advanced statistical models, machine learning methods (Random Forest, Decision Trees, SVM, NLP, Gradient Boosting, Supervised/Unsupervised Learning, Clustering, classification and regression modeling) & deploying these models
• Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the pharma industry, drug discovery and development process, regulations, market dynamics, and therapeutic areas. Knowledge about healthcare data sources like EHR, claims data, clinical trials data, genomics data, etc.

• Commercial Analytics: Ability to analyze sales and market data to derive actionable insights. Experience in modeling techniques related to market mix, patient journey, salesforce effectiveness, etc.

• Technical Skills :

o Advanced Statistics and Machine Learning: Mastery in statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning algorithms. Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning and understanding of advanced concepts like reinforcement learning and deep learning.

o Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python and R for statistical analysis, data visualization, machine learning, and data manipulation. Familiarity with SQL for database management and querying.

o Data Management: Experience in data cleaning, pre-processing, and ETL processes. Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive could also be essential.

o Tools and Platforms: Proficiency in data science tools and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Pytorch, etc. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
o

• Mentor and coach team members on problem solving, data science tools and techniques, and mange performance

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications

• BE/B- Tech, MCA, MSc, MBA
• Experience in statistical and data science techniques
• Python, Alteryx, SQL, AWS
• Worked extensively in the life sciences analytics space with hands on experience in LSH domain under consulting analytics
• Excellent exposure to data science, statistical and modeling techniques
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Client Relationship management: Liaise with client and internal leadership to build lasting relationships leading to seamless delivery of services

Preferred qualifications

• Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
• Superb communication and negotiation skills
