The Role: Data Researcher II

The Team:

The Transactions team is responsible for delivering best-in-class, cross-industry Mergers and Acquisitions, Equity Buyback, Bankruptcy, Public Offerings and Private Placements data supported by collaborative relationships with all other Market Intelligence content teams by always focusing on our core values of Integrity, Excellence, and Relevance.

The Impact: The selected candidate will contribute in achieving department KPIs by:

  • Supporting all aspects of Quality improvement.
  • Supporting team on internal quality control workflow in extracting data and analysis required for smooth business operations
  • Supporting initiatives and projects around Quality improvement, timeliness RCA, Relevancy study etc.
  • Driving Lean/Automation projects to realize operational efficiencies

  • Audit the data collection by data collections teams.

  • Enhance skills of understanding underlying logic on data collection procedures.
  • Understand the usage pattern of client.
  • Initiate and execute Process improvement and Automation projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Profiling/Collecting Transactions data from primary and secondary sources using financial knowledge
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence
  • Contribute on initiatives to improve individual and team quality by identifying systematic checks
  • Proactively identify procedure/guideline/data gaps and work with concerned teams to fix it
  • Having LEAN Mindset - Identify and execute on LEAN/Automation opportunities
  • Act as a mentor/trainer to new hires/subordinates post gaining adequate knowledge and experience on the dataset
  • Contribute on projects to improve quality, timeliness and comprehensiveness
  • Effectively collaborate with teams across the offices to address the workflow
  • Acts as a resource to the team in resolving daily workflow challenges/concerns

  • Strong knowledge of Finance, Accounts and Economics
  • Strong research, analytical and interpretation skills
  • Willingness of taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem identification and problem solving skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools including Advanced MS Excel
  • Basic working knowledge of SQL preferred
  • Willingness to work in Rotational Shifts
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Data/Service/KPO industry
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or Information Technology
