Job Description

Experience in advanced Data Analysis and Data Visualization using SQL and Tableau.

• Extensive experience in developing, maintaining and managing Tableau driven dashboards & analytics and working knowledge of Tableau administration/architecture.
• Report generation using Tableau Desktop through Live and Extracts.
• Interaction with client for various reports.
• Hands on experience in creating Tableau dashboards using pie charts, bar graphs, scattered plots, geographical maps, Gantt charts using show me functionality.
• Forecasting and trend lines using about next year sales and profit calculation.
• Experience in creating advanced charts like Waterfall chart, Donut chart, Word Cloud using tableau.
• Worked on multiple tableau visualization charts like Heat and Tree maps, Lollipop Chart and many more custom charts.
• Involved in creating interactive dashboard and applied actions (filter, highlight and URL) to dashboard.
• Worked on Dual Axis & Blended Axis concept while working with reports.
• Worked on filled map as well as symbol map.
• Publishing dashboards on Tableau Server using Tableau Desktop.
• Hands on experience in integrating Tableau dashboards to UI.
• Experience in enhancing the Tableau Visualizations with best fit charts based on the business need.
• Hands on on using LODs in Tableau.
• Good understanding on using Tableau REST API
• Proficiency in writing complex SQLs to fetch data from Relational databases.
• Solid understanding of SQL, Relational Databases and Normalization.
• Understanding of AGILE methodologies and experience in working in AGILE model.
• Experience working with Atlassian suite of project management tools (JIRA, Insight, Confluence)
• Strong Knowledge in BI tools including ETL, Data Warehousing, other BI tools
• Advanced knowledge and experience with Tableau software (Desktop Pro, Server, Interactor), with a strong understanding of Tableau architecture and administration
• Exposure to other BI tools like Power BI, SSRS, Qlik etc.
• Foundational or working knowledge of cloud-based environments, particularly within Amazon Web Services (AWS)"
