Job Title: Scrum Master and Business Analyst (Data Warehouse Data Services)


Job Start Time: 3 PM IST


Position Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Scrum Master and Business Analyst to join our CAESAR Data Services team. This hybrid role is responsible for facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement, while also gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and data requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agile methodologies, business analysis, and data warehousing concepts.


Key Responsibilities


Scrum Master Duties


Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives


Coach the team on Agile Scrum best practices and principles


Remove impediments and foster a collaborative self-organizing team environment


Track and communicate team metrics velocity burndown etc to stakeholders


Work closely with Team Business and Stakeholders to ensure a well-groomed and prioritized backlog


Business Analyst Duties


Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather analyze and document requirements for data warehouse and data services projects


Translate business needs into clear actionable user stories and acceptance criteria


Work with data architects engineers and QA to ensure requirements are understood and delivered accurately


Develop process flows data mappings and other documentation as needed


Support data quality initiatives and help define data governance standards


Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of data solutions


Required Skills and Qualifications


Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Business or related field


3 plus years of experience as a Scrum Master in a technical environment


3 plus years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in data warehousing data analytics or data services


Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts ETL processes and data modeling


Experience with Agile project management tools eg Jira Confluence


Excellent communication facilitation and interpersonal skills


Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications


Optional but good to have Scrum Master certification CSM PSM or equivalent


Experience with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus


Preferred Qualifications


Experience in the insurance or financial services industry


Familiarity with cloud data platforms eg Snowflake Azure


Knowledge of data integrations and data quality frameworks
