Job Responsibilities:

As a Data Analytics Lead, your role is crucial in ensuring the effective management, organization, and governance of data within an organization. Here are some key responsibilities typically associated with the role:

• Data Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define the data management strategy aligned with the organization\'s goals and objectives. Establish a roadmap for data management initiatives, including data integration, data quality, data governance, and data architecture.
• Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Define data standards, data classification, and data ownership guidelines. Establish data governance committees or councils to ensure data management practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Data Quality Management: Implement processes and procedures to monitor, assess, and improve data quality. Define data quality standards, rules, and metrics. Establish data quality controls and validation procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Data Integration and Architecture: Design and oversee data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across different systems and applications. Define data architecture principles, standards, and guidelines. Collaborate with IT teams to implement data integration solutions and ensure data security and privacy.
• Master Data Management: Implement master data management (MDM) processes and solutions to establish a single source of truth for critical data entities. Define data hierarchies, data models, and data stewardship responsibilities. Oversee the maintenance and synchronization of master data across systems.
• Data Lifecycle Management: Establish processes and procedures for data lifecycle management, including data acquisition, storage, retention, and disposal. Define data retention policies, archival strategies, and data purging processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and optimize storage resources.
• Data Privacy and Security: Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and implement data security measures. Establish data access controls, data encryption, and data masking techniques to safeguard sensitive data. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address data privacy and security risks.
• Data Documentation and Metadata Management: Define data documentation standards and templates. Oversee the creation and maintenance of data dictionaries, data lineage, and metadata repositories. Promote metadata management practices to enhance data discovery, data understanding, and data lineage.
• Data Management Tools and Technologies: Evaluate, select, and implement data management tools and technologies that align with the organization\'s requirements. This includes data integration tools, data quality tools, MDM solutions, and data governance platforms. Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in data management technologies.
• Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, data analysts, and data stewards. Provide guidance, support, and training to data management team members and stakeholders. Promote data management best practices and foster a data-directed culture within the organization.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of data management processes and practices. Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to optimize data management capabilities and work on operational efficiencies.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

• 12+ years of industry experience in the Data and Analytics domain
• Hands on Analytics expert experienced in delivering Analytics projects/products involving large and complex data sets
• Able to assimilate systems/ data to help generate summary/ detailed level diagnosis. This includes understanding the end to end process and controls.
• Thought leader who is adept in the latest industry trends and a proven track record of leading a team of highly talented Data Analysts, Business Analysts as well Data Quality specialists to produce high impact deliverables
