Duties: Data Informatics Analyst: Generates ad hoc reports and regular datasets or report information for end-users using system tools and database or data warehouse queries and scripts. Integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. May create specifications for reports based on business requests. Survey Tip: This is a technical role focused on building technical tools and structures based on established specifications. Incumbents whose primary function is analyzing data for trends and patterns should be matched to Business Intelligence Analyst (6011-6015). Individuals whose primary focus is maintaining internal database files and tables and developing custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and staff should be matched to HRIS Analyst (6271-6275). Incumbents who program and maintain reports as part of broad programming tasks or functions should be matched to Programmer/Analyst (6451-6456) or Enterprisewide Programmer/Analyst (6551-6556). May be internal operations-focused or external client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions. Skills: Responsibilities Work closely with portfolio managers to understand and maintain focus on their analytics needs, specifically building database queries or mining data to uncover solutions to business questions that will allow for delivery actionable insights to relevant decision-makers Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, with an eye on what drives business performance, and investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity. Create and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis, with reporting components from multiple data sources. Ideally experience in Tableau BI or Microsoft PowerBI Required skills and qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in database modelling and complex SQL, PLSQL query knowledge & data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Hana or any modern database). Experience in designing conceptual & dimensional data model and building calculation views, table functions, stored procedures to meet business reporting & analytics requirements. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and resolution skills. High level proficiency in interpretation of complex business scenarios and mapping them out into data warehouse models and database queries Must have Expertise split ratio SQL: Tableau (80:20) Expertise in database design & development, writing optimized queries, handling Facts, dimension data effectively. Ability to design, develop dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI would be plus. Experience in ad-hoc data analysis, solution design Excellent communication skills, ability to work individually and in a broader geographically disperse team Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or mathematics, Snowflake Cloud platform or like database environment
