Manager - Data Governance

• EY is looking for a motivated, result oriented and quality focused professional with strong consulting and technical skills to perform data governance consulting and delivery for our clients.
• The candidate must have solid data governance experience participating or leading large Data Governance and Management projects
• The candidate may need to involve in sales, pre-sales, business development for the firm and actively engage in responding to RFPs, Oral presentations to clients

The opportunity We are looking for a manager with expertise in industry leading Data Governance Consulting to join the Technology Consulting team. This will provide the candidate with a great opportunity to be part of a leading firm and be instrumental in the growth of Data and Analytics and Data Management capabilities.
Your key responsibilities

• Help our clients establish Data Management and Governance programs and drive data ownership into the client businesses.
• Perform Data Management and Governance reviews, Data Maturity assessments.
• Assist with implementation of the Data Management and Governance programs within the client organization.
• Conduct current state assessments, evaluate assessment results, and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
• Assist with data architecture reviews and advise on data solutions that pertain to Data Governance programs (Data Catalogue, Data Quality, Business Glossary, data tools/software, metadata management, master data management, Lineage).
• Establish strong relationship with client and the wider EY network.
• Mentor and manage junior consultants in the Data Management team.

• Must have Solid Data Governance experience across large projects.
• Must have thorough knowledge of relevant domain frameworks like DAMA.
• Be self-motivated and passionate about data management and governance.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage project delivery.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelors or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a reputed institution with a sound industry/domain experience and relevant data governance experience of over eight years.
• Have experience in Big4 consulting or Management Consulting firms
• Experience within data management and governance. Possess knowledge of frameworks, standards and regulatory requirements related to Data Governance, Data Management \xe2\x80\x93 DAMA.
• Experience with data management tools such as Collibra, Informatica, etc.
• Experience of Agile and traditional SDLC delivery methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A valid passport for travel and open to medium to long term travel to MENA region.

Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have

• BTech/MTech/PhD or equivalent
• Prior consulting experience preferred
• Project management and process development expertise in client serving roles
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
