Job Description


Our Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB) relies on innovators like you to build and maintain the technology that helps us safely service the world's important corporations, governments and institutions. You'll develop solutions for a bank entrusted with holding $18 trillion of assets and $393 billion in deposits. CIB provides strategic advice, raises capital, manages risk, and extends liquidity in markets spanning over 100 countries around the world.

Skills required to be considered for this role:

  • Hand's-on proficient experience in AWS / Public Cloud
  • Delivering Infrastructure as Code and scaling services in Cloud.

Preferred skills:
  • 7+ years of Software Development Experience with 2+ years Hand's-on proficient experience in AWS / Public Cloud

Experience in the following is desired:
  • Big data / Spark, Python, PySpark, Lambda, SQl and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with terraform and docker/kubernetes
  • Knowledge of AWS / Public Cloud scripting and automation for continuous deployment and integration (CI/CD)
  • Should have experience in AWS Glue, Glue Data Catalogue, AWS Athena, Redshift, EMR
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting
  • Hands on experience in building and maintaining highly available production systems.
  • Optimize applications for performance and scalability
  • Experience in Agile development techniques like Scrum and Test Driven development
  • Willing and able to learn the investment banking business, fully understand how and why tasks satisfy business needs and support the transformation to 'Digital Investment Bank'
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Collaborate with global-located cross functional team and stakeholders
  • A delivery focused approach to work and the ability to work as part of team and also independently when required

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline is preferable but not mandatory with work experience of designing, programming, and supporting software programs or applications.
