Opportunity Key Responsibilities: ETL, BI Tester with dev experience This profile has 70% testing and 30% development work. Testing (70%) Works with the Engineering Manager, QA Lead to implement the E2E Test approach Participates across the development lifecycle Work with the QA team in Designing and developing automated service level tests System / System Integration test, by developing automated solutions to increase test execution efficiency either by introduction of tooling and/or by the creation of automated test cases Regression test Performance test Functional test Actively participates in the development of test strategies, test estimation, test planning. Will develop deep understanding of the technical applications impacted by their change and can develop the test engineering approach to validate the changes requested. Understands and can easily translate the business requirements for change into testable requirements Create the review test readiness checklist, Perform the review and present results to the QA Lead, Basic Sanity and smoke test and determine- are we ready we test Give a go ahead to the QA team for testing Plan daily testing in the test lab Set test execution guidelines after seeking the team's inputs, Work on test execution, Help new testers with catching on with the current application, Report defects Review the defects reported by the team members to make sure that they are valid, not duplicates and complete in the description Escalate any showstoppers and make decisions on how to proceed in such situations Reporting o Collect metrics based on overall testing statistics . Supports the QA Lead in managing all risks and issues arising from their work Development ( 30%) Wok with Tech lead , Architect on creation of development user stories Understand dev requirement and analyze and follow solution architecture Do code build and unit testing Update ADO regularly. Who are we looking for: Qualification . Bachelor's Degree in IT or similar technical programs Experience . Preferably 6-8+ years' experience in software testing while familiar with the Software Development Lifecycle of moderate to complex systems . Mix of test plus Dev profile with focus on testing . Hands on experience in performance tests (nice to have) . Very Good SQL knowledge is required . Working knowledge in Agile SCRUM Methodology preferred . Knowledge on Test Management tools such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, HP ALM Technologies involved - Azure BI Stack. ADF, Azure SQL warehouse, Data Bricks, Spark, Azure functions, Event Hub, Power BI (or any reporting tool), Devops knowledge preferred. Skills . Strong coordination and problem-solving skills . Ability to work independently, collaborate with cross functional groups and manage multiple assignments . A strong engineering, scientific or mathematical background and good communication abilities are essential. Outgoing personality with an international mind-set able to work with a multi-level and diverse workforce . Is results oriented and has a high degree of accountability, commitment and responsibility . Is a Team Player . Good understanding with testing methodologies (ISTQB, TMAP, etc.) . Has experience of global delivery model
