JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY OF ROLE To support Business Intelligence using the Azure suite of Analytics & Data platforms The focus of the role is on the technical aspects and implementation of data gathering, integration and model design, with some report and dashboard creation. Working with Azure DevOps, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Power BI to support creation of data models for strategic & self-service Business Intelligence PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Implementing robust data pipelines in Azure Creating reusable and scalable data pipelines Development and deployment of new data platforms, Data Warehouses, Data Marts, etc. Responsible for using Azure BI services to support strategic & self-service models & reports Work closely with the Product Owners and Architects to develop Azure Data Platforms Adhere to internal standards for coding, project tracking and documentation. Integrate data from source systems/data lake into a data warehouse. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Note : Full training will be given where required for this role. Required 3-5 years of experience in Data Warehousing with Cloud technologies Graduate degree educated in computer science or a relevant subject Good software engineering principals Experience in working on Azure Services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Knowledge of SAP Application and/or SAP Tables Working experience with Azure DevOps paired with knowledge of Agile and/or Scrum methods of delivery Extensive experience connecting to various data sources and structures (like RDBMS, Data Lake, IoT, Blob Storage) Strong practical experience with T-SQL or any variant from other RDBMS Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication skills in dealing with internal customers from a range of functional areas Ability to work with remote & virtual project teams, third parties & consultants Willingness to work flexible working hours according to project requirements Technical documentation skills Fluent in English Preferred Practical experience of at least one data visualization platform (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau) Oracle PL/SQL Nice to have Microsoft SQL Server Reporting services (SSRS) knowledge Developing ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Analytical skills, knowledge of SSAS Python, .NET, C# knowledge Knowledge of SAP System operations: Kernels, Job Processes, MaxDB or Oracle interfaces, etc CORE COMPETENCIES (Lominger preferred) Customer focus Drive for results Listening Innovation/Tangential thinking Communication Reliability Flexibility Organization Integrity and trust Dealing with ambiguity JOB DESCRIPTION Our Commitment to Our People Across the globe, we are united by a singular Purpose: We invest in our employees to ensure they have the marketplace knowledge, skills, and competencies to bring this Purpose to life while competing and leading in a global economy.
