Qualifications

Education & Experience

+

Bachelor's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


+

4-6 years of hands-on data engineering experience, including designing and maintaining data pipelines in a production environment.


Technical Skills

+

Proficiency in Python and SQL with experience using data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Dagster, Airflow, etc.).


+

Demonstrable experience with AWS (S3, EC2, Lambda, Glue) and Snowflake.


+

Familiarity with dbt for data transformations and modeling.


+

Understanding of ETL/ELT best practices and data warehousing concepts.


+

Experience using source control systems and CI/CD pipelines.


Soft Skills & Leadership

+

Effective communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.


+

Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to team knowledge sharing.


+

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
