Are you a strong communicator and problem solver and looking for an opportunity to transform business requirements into data products This position offers the unique opportunity to develop and apply your cutting-edge knowledge of data engineering and product development related methods and tools to create results and insights that will accelerate the transformation of our business model, and to work with business specialists across Maersk Group. Day-to-day, you will : Be a part of an excellent team of Data Engineer and Data Scientists following Scrum framework Work on a prioritized backlog based on business requirements while demonstrating Microsoft Azure Data capabilities e.g.: Azure SQL, Integration Runtime, DataBricks etc. Support the planning and implementation of data flow design, provide sizing and configuration assistance Assisting the Solution Architects, Data Scientists on program for transformations and modernizations of data solutions using Azure cloud data technologies. Design and Build Data Pipelines and Data Streams Working with Azure Event Hub, Confluent Kafka for data streaming Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes. What are we are looking for Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloging, and mapping for technical design and construction of technical data flows. Experience in data modelling and analysis using T-SQL is essential Knowledge of Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL is MUST Knowledge of DevSecOps processes and Infrastructure as code fundamentals using Terraform or ARM Working experience with Python or Scala or Spark is expected Experience with GitOps is a requirement Understanding of data modeling concepts along with Star Schema and Extended Star Schema Should be able to work with RDBMS and NoSQL both seamlessly Ensure that data transformations are well documented, follows best practices and are understood by business users and other members of scrum team Personal Profile: Able to work in a large program and distributed organization while having service mindset Strong collaboration, team ethics and experience working with remote teams Positive attitude for continuous improvement and learning new technologies Having substantial operations in over 130 countries, we work across continents, across cultures and with individuals from all walks of life.
