As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for driving innovation and modernization of our current data architecture to meet the evolving data needs of the organization. Working closely with Senior Data Engineers and Data Architects, you will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining the data architecture, enabling data analysts and business partners to derive valuable insights. With an end-to-end perspective of data, from raw data ingestion to reporting requirements, you will create solutions that meet our business objectives. Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to process and transform large amounts of data. Develop and maintain data integration solutions to combine data from multiple sources into a single, unified view. Optimize data delivery and performance by implementing caching mechanisms, indexing strategies, and other techniques. Collaborate with data analysts, data architect and engineers to understand data requirements and design data solutions that meet business needs. Ensure high data quality by implementing data validation and monitoring procedures. Continuously learn and stay up to date with new data engineering technologies and best practices. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of data engineering standards and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field 2-4 years of hands-on work experience and proven track record in the field of data engineering Programming skills in SQL, Python and experience with at least one SQL database (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB etc.) Understanding of ETL process, data modelling and data warehousing concepts, programming skills in Python is a plus. Familiarity with Google Data Fusion and Apache data flow is a plus.
