You Are: The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with Hadoop and SQL, Data Analytics, tool as well as strong problem-solving and analytical skills. The Opportunity : Minimum 6 years\' experience of working as a Data Engineer or similar role Experience in data Modeling and data engineering roles. Strong understanding of big data technology stack such as Cloudera Hadoop Ecosystem that includes HDFS, PySpark, Hive and Impala Experience in writing complex queries using SQL, Hive, and Impala. Experience in Data Analytics and Data Transformation Design and develop logical and physical database models. Design models for Self-Services Analytics and Reporting Utilize ETL data methods (Extraction, Transform, and Loading) to bring disparate data sources together into the correct format required by applications. Review data for quality assurance discrepancies and communicate issues to supervisor and affected staff as needed. Provide support for reporting issues or failures at any time. Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the data architecture, data models, and data flow in our data warehouse, and to understand their data requirements and provide technical support as needed. Implement data quality assurance practices to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and integrity by implementing data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes. Create and maintain documentation of the data architecture, data models, and data pipelines to ensure understanding and efficient collaboration among team members. Education and Experience BE/Btech/Mtech with degree in Statistics or other quantitative disciplines such as Engineering, Applied Mathematics, etc. MBA qualification, nice to have. Years of experience required for this position: 5-6 years. Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations. Excellent problem-solving skills and end to end quantitative thinking.
