Line of Service Internal Firm Services Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism IFS - Finance Management Level Senior Associate & Summary A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You\'ll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. As a part of our Payroll team, you\'ll help PwC manage and administer timely, accurate, and efficient processing of our payroll operations. You\'ll help manage the Payroll account ledgers, prepare tax reports and documents, and perform routine internal audits to make sure our system is always compliant with federal, state, and local laws. Additional Responsibilities: PwC\'s Controller Operations is a dynamic, agile and innovative Finance organization that is focused on the fiscal integrity of the U.S. member firm\'s financial performance. The Managed Operations Team is responsible for generating data driven, value added operational insights across Controller Operations. The team collaborates with its stakeholders to develop process opportunities and analytical solutions to influence key business decisions supporting Firm strategy. Preferred Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: Excellent understanding on Power Bi and Visualization tools. Good understanding of SQL , can write code, read the data, can analyze the data. Can use Power Bi tool to analyze multiple sets of data. Solving complex problems using cutting edge technology and methodologies Collaborating with stakeholders/leaders to understand business problems and driving solutions through analysis Working with multiple data sets across the organization to extract value added insights while structuring comprehensive evidence to support results Interpreting financial data to make recommendations for action and identify future focus areas for stakeholder consideration Utilizing statistical and programming languages such as R, SAS, Python, SQL, etc. to transform data and formulate conclusions Utilizing technology to assess potential business opportunities, risks and detect anomalies Understanding of Firm-wide business intelligence resources such as Tableau, Qlik, and other visualization tools Demonstrating experience in building and maintaining relationships with business partners, leaders and stakeholders Self upskilling and promoting innovation, sharing knowledge and ideas with the team, while vetting and presenting project initiatives with team leaders and stakeholders.
