Application Development Technical Lead This position will be responsible for Directing a team of software developers in a cloud (AWS) based development environment. The role will involve both hands on development, technical lead responsibilities (standard processes, code reviews etc.) and some team management. Experience in an Agile environment, especially CI/CD, is crucial along with a proven background in C# and database development. The technical lead is encouraged to assist both the Development and Product Managers to develop new functionality as the need arises by the business users. The role will also require some solve of production incidents and as such may require some out of hours work. The responsibilities of the individual in this position include: Review, analyze, and modify software systems as needed acting as Technical Lead Produce scripts/scripting to integrate with teams automated process and tooling for build/deploy Collaborate with users and other IT teams to maintain, develop and deploy the best solutions Establish technology standards with the team and other development managers. Support both the production and non-production environments working hours as vital to achieve this. The successful candidate will have extensive proven skills and experiences including the following: Significant C# experience ideally within API and Microservices applications Excellent database and SQL experience (ideally Postgresql ) Detailed experience with development tooling ( Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket ) and CI/CD applications ( Jenkins, Terraform ) Exposure to AWS Components Lambda, S3, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Aurora Experience with NodeJs, AngularJs ( nice to have ) Confirmed ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner Effectively collaborate with peer group (Scrum/Agile team) Effectively communicate with our Business Partners: end-users, user groups and product owners At LSEG, we believe that creating a diverse and inclusive organisation is fundamental to the way we deliver on our promise of creating essential partnerships and open opportunities.
