Your role, as domain data architect, will work with change initiatives across the organization to help them design solutions that meet our architecture principles and drive the Bank towards its desired target state. You should have ability to grasp and manage complexity of the data integration environment, in both business and technical sense, understanding data and process flows through data integration layer and downstream/upstream systems dependencies. Ensure data integrity and security is maintained as per Bank\'s standard and guidelines (naming conventions, encryption, and security settings) Embed with change initiatives to support them through their design phases, ensuring they align to the target state architecture principles and blueprints. Interact with engineers, architects and technology leads to drive those outcomes, taking a position of clear authority as a steward of the Data Architecture Strategy. Leverage your data modelling experience to ensure our data is described and structured accurately and in the most efficient way possible. You will work closely with cloud engineers to design and develop the next-generation of the data solutions, leveraging GCP capabilities. You should have capability to innovate and think creatively, showing willingness to apply new approaches to solving problems and to learn new methods and technologies Ability to think analytically, with systematic and logical approach to solving complex problems, and high attention to detail Work with architects and process owners in Group Architecture to enhance architectural governance and review processes for continuous driving towards target state data architecture Help drive best practices in and may tactically support highest priority releases and/or enhancements to large or critical systems. Take Ownership for platform scalability and work with stakeholders to ensure that necessary capacity and Tech Roadmap compliance related requirements are dealt with on time. Build trusted and influential relationships with senior business stakeholders. Assesses and identifies mitigation for risks, including those related to high level design, integration, design reviews and data quality Contribute to finding out performance issues in application and provide solutions. Ensures architectural changes (as defined by Architects) are implemented Provides Level 3 support for technical infrastructure components (i.e. patching, upgrades, DR, databases refresh, migration activities) Contributes to root cause /problem analysis Support the PO, Analyst and Scrum Master Your skills and experience Experience - 9 to 12 years Architecture, can include architectural experience linked to Application SDLC or close collaboration with Enterprise Architects Data Modelling, ideally at an enterprise level but will also consider application specific. Exposure to cloud migrations, ideally GCP. Practicing experience in any cloud services preferably GCP around document AI/ML and hands-on on developing data pipelines, data integrations, real-time and batch data processing Summarizing complex architecture / design related challenges for senior management consumption Stakeholder influencing & communications Desired: Experience working with data tools such as Collibra, PowerDesigner, Visio, Draw.io Understanding of SDLC and technology concepts to allow effective close collaboration with engineers to resolve challenges Data virtualization and distributed queries AI/ML architecture Experienced working with agile methodologies Building on a very strong technical knowledge and experience base in the above areas candidates must be highly articulate and persuasive communicators, with strong collaboration and teamwork skills and a proven ability to manage the delivery of innovative solutions to a large, geographically diverse global enterprise. English written and verbal skills are mandatory German is an added benefit Knowledge of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models Experience in Oracle, PostgreSQL databases and performed SQL tunning and optimizations Strong solution architecture experience in complex environment Strong learning capabilities and adopt new technologies Proficiency in working with global and local teams, working in a collaborative agile environment.
