As a Data Architect, we expect you to assist the Lead Solutions Architect in the design of the architectural plan and monitoring of data pipelines. Collaborate with company management and TechOps teams to develop a data strategy that meets corporate needs and industry requirements. Guide the Data Engineering and Data Solutions teams to build and implement databases and applications.

Responsibilities:

• Create an inventory of the data necessary to build and implement a data architecture.
• Maintain a repository of all data architecture procedures and artifacts.
• Determine upgrades and improvements to current data architectures.
• Assist in the design of data models for database structures, analytics, and AI applications.
• Enforce database development standards.
• Assist in the development of measures that ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
• Assist business in monitoring, refining, and reporting data management system performance.

What skillset are we looking for?

• Applied mathematics and statistics
• Data visualization, data migration, and data modeling
• Relational database management systems
• DBMS software, including Postgres SQL
• Database and cloud computing design, architectures, and data lakes
• Technologies like Kafka, Spark, Talend, or Hadoop
• Information management and data processing on multiple platforms
• Agile methodologies and enterprise resource planning implementation
• Systems development lifecycle and project management
• Data management and reporting technologies, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data
• Creative and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Strong business and communication skills as well as knowledge of the big data industry
