Position Requirements:

Must Have:

Experience in Data Warehousing / Data Marts / Data Lake Projects using Informatica Cloud

Should have expertise in extracting data from different source systems like flat files, XML sources, Big data appliances, RDBMS, etc.,

Design, develop, and support our Data applications and infrastructure utilizing various technologies to process large volumes of data

Strong technical experience building data integration processes by constructing mappings, tasks, task flows, schedules, and parameter files

Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures.

Create or update technical documentation for transition to support teams

Develop automated data audit and validation processes.

Develop and deploy ETL/ELT job workflow with reliable error/exception handling and rollback.

Manage foundational data administration tasks such as scheduling jobs, troubleshooting job errors, identifying issues with job windows, assisting with Database backups and performance tuning.

Design, Develop, Test, Adapt ETL/ELT code & jobs to accommodate changes in source data and new business requirements.

Proactively communicate innovative ideas, solutions, and capabilities over and above specific task requests

Participate in design review sessions and ensure all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications.

Ensure data quality throughout the entire ETL/ELT process, including audits and feedback loops performing business solutions to sources of truth.

Reviews work products (Technical design documents, ETL code, Unit testing documents etc.) and provide guidance to team members

Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules as applicable

Strong SQL Skills and performance tuning capabilities

Good to have experience / exposure in Aurora, S3, Snowflake DB, RedShift

Good communication and presentation skills

Work location- Anywhere in India

Desired Knowledge / Skills:

Experience / Knowledge on other ETL tools like Informatica PC, Snaplogic, Datastage, ODI

Experience in developing application integration using SOAP/REST APIs, APIs leveraged to integrate multiple systems

Data Modeling experience, understanding of AWS concepts, Knowledge on Spark is a plus

Knowledge on other Cloud infrastructure like AWS and Azure will be a big plus

Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies - Waterfall and Agile

Experience in demonstrating technical solutions to end-users

Worked in Offshore / Onsite Engagements
