About the internship

We are a top-end sales outsourcing firm with fundamentals in using intent analytics to build prospect databases. You will get to understand the why of sales & marketing and contribute to building a powerful prospect database.

Selected intern\'s day-to-day responsibilities include:

Data Scraping:

1. Identifying relevant data sources and websites for ethical scraping based on project requirements
2. Implementing data scraping scripts or using scraping tools to extract data efficiently
3. Handling potential challenges such as dynamic websites, anti-scraping mechanisms, and CAPTCHA

Web Scraping:

1. Understanding HTML/CSS structures to locate and extract data elements effectively
2. Extracting data from various web formats, including tables, lists, and nested elements
3. Using browser automation tools like Selenium for dynamic website scraping
4. Handling data obtained from APIs & web services

Data Cleaning:

1. Detecting and addressing data inconsistencies, errors, and outliers
2. Applying data normalization, standardization, and formatting to maintain data integrity
3. Dealing with missing data through imputation or appropriate handling methods
4. Verifying data accuracy and resolving discrepancies of different data sources
