Designation: Data Analyst
Location: Mumbai
We are looking for a Business Data Analyst with good data visualisation skills, who could present large amounts of information in ways that are easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations which would assist the company to have better business insights. In this role, the candidate should have a talent for analysis, math, and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. He/ She should have a passion for machine learning and research. The candidate must have 2 to 4 years of experience in mining and analysing data as a data analyst preferably in the Financial Services Sector. The position reports to the Head of Marketing of the company and would be responsible to handle the activities of our Kuwait & Oman operations.
Business Data Analyst Responsibilities:

• Making large and complex data more accessible, understandable, and usable to the business team.
• Regular analysis of the Corridor wise / Nationality wise / Branch wise/ Channel wise business figures and provide valid insights to the Marketing and Sales team to take appropriate business decisions.
• Analytical skills to analysis the outcome / effectiveness of any marketing campaign, promotions, digital marketing against the set objective and share the report to marketing team.
• Perform customer trend analysis to take corrective action to improve the customer\xe2\x80\x99s retention ratio of the company.
• Conduct market research, trends, and competitor analysis.
• Transforming, improving, and integrating data, depending on the business requirements.
• Delivering the data in a useful and appealing way to users.
• Conduct continuous research on the latest industry trends to develop new ideas for the market to improve revenue.
• Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices.
• Liaise with Marketing, Sales and Digital Marketing teams to optimize customer experience.
• Support any other business-related matter which requires your support.

• Graduate in either of Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
• Proven 2-4 yrs working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst preferably in Banks/ Financial Services.
• Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc).
• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel etc).
• Analytical skills, comfortable with juggling facts, figures, and number crunching.
• Critical thinking: able to look at numbers, trends, and data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
• MIS Management, Data Presentation & Excellent knowledge in MS Office (Special skill in Power Point Presentation).
• Knowledge of Python, R and BI will be a plus.

• 10-12 LPA
• Candidate should be willing to travel to Kuwait for Training for few months when selected.
