For Data Analyst III - Data Engg IN3 About Team: The eComm Analytics team India is looking for experienced analyst and data engineers who will support product, engineering and leadership team with insights gained from analysing product and business data. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. The candidate will work across a family of products (e.g. Walmart.com, Mobile Apps, Pharmacy, Ads) to help set the vision for creating amazing customer experience. What you\'ll do: Responsible for crafting simple, dependable data pipelines and automated reporting to surface metrics Design and implement big data architecture, data pipelines, reporting, dashboarding, data exploration, processes and quality controls to enable self-service Business Intelligence Explores data to find actionable insights and makes product recommendations through funnels, long-term trends, segmentation, and more as necessary Designs, builds, and maintains ETL pipeline of analytical data warehouse Responsible for building internal tools using web development tools Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions applying data modelling, SQL and data warehousing skills Applies fluency in SQL, as well as a deep understanding of statistical analysis, and common pitfalls of data analysis Develop automated scripts, build re-usable tools using Python programming Identify the bottlenecks of data flow and analysis, architect and implement solutions such as automation of data processing pipelines, optimalization of data queries, and enhancement of data visualization and interpretation Keep current on big data and data visualization technology trends, evaluate, work on proof-of-concept and make recommendations on the technologies based on their merit What you\'ll bring: Our Ideal Candidate must have experience in SQL, Python, Hive/Spark, Unix Scripting and Tableau 3+ years of experience of working in a high growth analytics team 2+ years of programming experience with at least one language such as Python, Scala, Java or other modern OOP programming language 2+ years of experience with building dashboards using Tableau, Looker etc. Fluency in SQL, as well as an understanding of statistical analysis, and common pitfalls of data analysis. Basic understanding of query logic is a MUST Bachelor\'s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. Relevant experience in Product analytics will be a PLUS Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development Experience with data visualization application development using Python Experienced developing in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Snowflake at scale Experience in designing data engineering solutions using open source and proprietary cloud data pipeline tools such as Airflow, Glue and Dataflow Ecommerce or retail analytics experience a strong plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams. About Ecommerce Product Analytics Team The team is spread over multiple locations within US and Bangalore, performing like a true product organization within matrix structure. Specifically, in Bangalore, we work on various product domains as well as own few platform components and operate with total ownership philosophy. Both US and Bangalore Product analytics team work in sync solving business problems for partners at both locations.
