Key Duties and Responsibilities Contribute to team efforts and work with others in ensuring that enterprise data is accessible, trustworthy, transparent, privacy-compliant and of consistent quality Actively lead access management of data catalogue assets, including requests, approvals, notifications and documentation, in compliance-proof manner Develop and maintain documentation related to policies and processes within data catalogue, including reference materials for key systems, data assets and data flows Proactively manage data rules, reactively monitor data quality and establish workflows with other stakeholders to maintain and enhance metadata fields Work with our team to support Legal and Data Privacy in increasing awareness of data governance and privacy initiatives e.g. cookie consent changes Contribute to development of our data privacy programme to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations and Cond Nast policies Support interpretation and application of GDPR, cookies and data privacy compliance rules across Conde Nast through providing informational resources and consulting services Essential Skills and Requirements Degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or related fields 5+ years of experience working in data-related roles e.g. data management, CDO Office Good understanding of metadata within context of relational database data Understanding of data standardisation in relation to organisational data dictionaries Understanding of data governance, strategy and management best practices concepts Understanding of data-related business processes e.g. data modelling, data quality Hands-on experience using data governance tools including data catalogues Excellent communication and presentation skills (foreign languages a plus) Team player who is proactive, thorough, sceptical, detail-oriented and organised
