Job Overview FP&A team is a group within a company\'s finance organization that provides senior management actuals with standard margin, TPO, AR and other finance related data to track revenue and gross margin by business unit. Team collect, prepare, and analyze financial data across the organization to create reports that provide data-driven answers to business decisions. FP&A analysts focused on recording and reporting financial results and leveraging historical financial data to extrapolate future sales and earnings. FP&A provides analytic insights to base predictions and analytics that directly influence the business\'s direction. Responsibilities: Database Management: Create new databases, manage existing databases, come up with solutions to optimize the database to run big data. Create, review and maintain user logins, access for the dashboard. Collab with IT team to review and initiate SQL updates. Make sure database is running on most updated SQL server Data acquisition: Responsible to know all the data sources in TE. Aware of connection methods for difference data sources. Work on ETL (Visual Studio) tools to extract data for the SQL data base. Collab with reporting and analytics team to understand the new data requirements. Make sure all major data is updated regularly and available in our database for reporting and analysis team SQL Management: Create SQL tables and view. Manage existing tables and views. Understand the data management structure. Make sure the data in all tables are up to date. Create SQL jobs, procedure to automate ETL process. Manage existing SQL jobs and procedures SharePoint Management: Good Knowledge of how SharePoint works, creating libraries, creating access grouping and managing. Should support SharePoint activities during the key persons absence. Represent project stakeholders throughout the process: Directs or participates in development of new and existing programs and special projects to determine feasibility, resolve problems including organizational, procedural, technical and fiscal research and analysis develops Systems and procedures to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and/or improve internal and external customer service develops information system documentation to support for the use of Business Users prepares reports and written findings and recommendations and monitors changes. Training & Backup: Provide training, when required, the team members. Build back up for your process. Create documentations and regularly update the documentations with process changes Test and validation: Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. Conducts change impact analysis to assess the potential implications of changes. Desired Candidate Profile: Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modelling, and working with \'Big Data\' Computer programming experience in Python, Ruby, or Java Excellent hands-on experience with Tableau Dashboard, Tableau Server and understand the data warehouse concepts. Experience on CRM tools like Salesforce.com Excellent problem-solving skills Excited to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insight sexperience in data analysis.
