About the role Thermo Fisher is seeking a highly motivated individual to help drive our objectives and scale our processes so that we can continue to provide high value to the many divisions we support across the greater business. This position is crafted to support the audience segmentation team, working cross-functionally between data-science and omni-channel, as well as supporting the administrative needs of our development and production environments and monitoring of future and existing campaigns. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the enablement and implementation of data-science and omni-channel capabilities for Thermo Fisher Scientific across our largest divisions
  • Responsible for building audiences using our data science capabilities to coordinate the outputs of data science models through marketing channels
  • Build targeted segments/audiences with online and offline data; first, second and third party data
  • Develop audiences reaching contacts through multiple channels - email, social, 3rd party sites, partnerships, programmatic buying, etc.
  • Optimize audience reach efficiency during campaigns to ensure return on investment.
  • Learn and apply the most current methodologies for audiences sizing, characteristics and ability to apply demographic and behavioral data insights to audience segments
  • Validate list selection logic, segmentation, offers and dynamic output relating it back to the businesses
  • Monitor existing and future campaign executions, raising critical issues if/when failures occur to ensure minimal downtime
  • Support the greater team using the Databricks tool, helping to coordinate notebooks in development and managing the process to work with IT to move into production
  • Remain updated with the changing of data / sources / flows / customer touch-points
  • Advocate for processes automation
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years experience with Query language and Database Management Tools
  • Experience with agile processes and management
  • Understanding of and experience with all audience development channels
  • Computer literate with proven understanding of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience using SQL, Python, IBM Cognos, DMPs, Tableau (or equivalent)
  • Experience in business analysis, operations, or B2B services
  • Adept at debugging and solving problems uncovered
  • Grasps logic and QA usage of any external data files
  • Collaborates across teams and constantly enrich knowledge of customer / product
  • Digitally savvy, with outstanding analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Maintains expertise in marketing and stays current on new developments through contacts with educational institutions, professional organizations, publications, and vendors.
  • Strong ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and disseminate information.
  • Ability to multi-task and change direction as needed.
  • Ability to make decisions, prioritize and lead multiple projects in a fast- paced, multifaceted environment.
