Bending Machine Operator
Job Description
Operate bending machines to bend metal sheets or parts according to engineering drawings with precise dimensions.
Set up machines by selecting and installing the appropriate dies and tools for each job.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand bending sequence and angle requirements.
Perform trial bend operations and make adjustments to ensure the accuracy of bends.
Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and minor troubleshooting to ensure smooth operation.
Adhere to safety standards to prevent accidents during machine operation.
Collaborate with quality and production teams to ensure output meets standards and deadlines.
