JOB SUMMARY

  • Identify & Develop Agency Growth initiatives
  • Participate in channel level strategy development & deployment, collate and review plans & their implementation
  • Explore white spaces in market for new initiatives.
  • design and lead strategy to scale up acquisition of top distribution and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop key markets nationally through new initiatives
  • Scale up existing growth initiatives launched in Agency
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy and Scale
  • Identify new markets & establish Max Life in new cities/geographies
  • Drive top line growth in new markets
  • Participate in the development of the Business plan & provide inputs on departmental goals to Agency Head
  • Develop/conceptualize, plan and deliver/grow business by utilizing opportunities in cities and geographies to add further to the Agency pie
  • Responsible for creating New Markets channel as a strategic revenue generating channel within Agency
  • Introduce and run effective feedback mechanism (employees, customers, Agents, Market)
  • Build an effective and stable team, ensure timely recruitment of team
  • Alignment with support functions (working with & through others)
  • Contribute to developing talent pool and leadership pipeline
  • Ensure adequate and timely marketing support
  • Training & Development of team
  • Help build best in class operations and service delivery through constant feedback and implementation support
  • Manage compliance and financial risks
  • Human capital management
  • Mentor, counsel and guide team.
  • Engage with direct and skip level reports on performance management issues and monitor the implementation of processes on a broader basis.

Desired qualification and experience
  • MBA / Post graduate with 15+ years of experience, minimum experience of insurance sector 5 yrs
  • Should have similar market exposure and experience in process driven, quality sales organizations
  • Familiarity with skills in recruitment, supervision & development of teams, strong networking
  • Ability to build business strategies around driving and achieving business targets and future expansion
