Key Responsibilities



\xe2\x80\xa2 The customer training instructor is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, and directing the training of associates and Unisys customers. \xe2\x80\xa2 The role creates the materials necessary to train users how to use software. \xe2\x80\xa2 The associate is ideally someone who has an instructional design background and therefore understands how to create materials that are effective in helping adults learn. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to approach the problems that the software solves in a way that makes sense to the users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Training materials range from slide decks to handouts for training sessions to self-study guides. The focus is on creating a situation where the user will find it easy to use the software. \xe2\x80\xa2 The trainer needs to find a way to communicate what the product does and how it does it. The trainer\'s role is often the role of the super user. \xe2\x80\xa2 The work with technical support and internal and client subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure course materials provide current and relevant information. \xe2\x80\xa2 Establishes training requirements, standards and schedules. \xe2\x80\xa2 Instructs participants in both classroom and virtual environments. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyzes training needs, prepares special courses and related manuals and acquires resources needed to carry out training programs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep materials up to date and reflective of any product or client changes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keeps abreast of new and evolving research, methods, and techniques for training personnel to meet job requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Continually evaluates effectiveness of training and necessary improvements You will be successful in this role if you have:

Key Qualifications



\xe2\x80\xa2 BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field, 5-7 years of related professional experience in training and instructional design. \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong understanding of how adults learn. \xe2\x80\xa2 The ability to communicate complex topics with precision and understanding. \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent public speaking and facilitation skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experienced with Word, PPT, and virtualization software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Skilled in providing training via multiple media formats-online, in-person, web/teleconference. \xe2\x80\xa2 More advanced candidates will have the ability to anticipate future needs eeo
