Job Description

Job Title: Customer Support Representative (Travel and Tourism) -Bengali Language : We are seeking a highly motivated and friendly Customer Support Representative to join our dynamic travel and tourism start-up company. As a Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, specifically catering to Telugu-speaking customers. You should have a strong command of both Bengali (regional language) and English, be proficient in explaining the features of our tourism packages, and possess excellent sales conversion skills. Office Location: Thousand Lights, Anna Salai, Chennai and T Nagar Work From Office only Responsibilities:

  • Professionally handle inbound and outbound calls from Bengali-speaking clients, providing outstanding customer support and assistance.
  • Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and details of our various tourism packages to potential customers in Bengali and English.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, building rapport and trust to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Assess customer needs, offer suitable solutions, and guide customers through the booking process, ensuring sales conversion.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, inquiries, and bookings in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to stay updated on current promotions, offers, and new travel destinations.
  • Provide timely resolution to customer issues, concerns, or complaints, striving for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and destination information to provide accurate and helpful advice to customers.
  • Actively contribute to team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in Bengali (regional language) and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Previous experience in customer support or sales role, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle difficult customer situations with empathy and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work from our office in Chennai.
  • A genuine passion for travel, tourism, and exploring new destinations.
