Job Description


A service industry/ F&B professional with experience in building, managing and exceeding customer experience for internal & external stakeholder, increasing catering & F&B sales and organising events The desired candidate is expected to have experience of working in hotels/corporates overlooking customer relationship, driving banquets, F&B and catering sales, organising events and other F&B related areas Experience in creating a culture of customer service excellence is a must Job brief: This role would require the person to work closely with the Customer Relationship Manager for the Campus, General Manager for the region and cross functional teams to ensure healthy client relationship, smooth sales operations, and management of events Responsibilities: Gather customer requirements (like number of guests and event dates) Plan food and beverage menus considering clients preferences and special requests Arrange food tastings with potential customers Close pricing and close contract Communicate requirement to operations team Oversee execution and collect feedback Report on budgets, forecasts, expenses through various reports Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements and skills: Work experience in catering or restaurants sales or similar role Hands-on experience with creating menus from scratch Excellent organizational and time-management skills Customer service attitude Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions under stressful circumstances Certification in hospitality or culinary management is a plus Preferred qualifications: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organisational and project management skills Familiarity with event planning and catering best practices Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and best practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred qualifications Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field 1 to 3 years of experience in customer relationship management in the food and beverage and events industry
