With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
What you will learn and contribute to As a Technical Specialist you would be driving the NOM software introduction to the various regions, leading the pilots and trials. Identifies, prioritizes and coordinates solving of demanding and/or business critical problems and communicates them to key stakeholders inside R&D, Product Line Management, and MN Services. Initiates and manages product, care, and process improvement projects. Drives needed changes in own technology area. Is responsible for knowledge sharing in own technology area. Influences relevant functions (e.g. services, product management and R&D). Target for Customer Project Manager is to ensure successful project execution and reduce escalations to top level and incident management while leading customer delivery projects and provide technical leadership for network management SW upgrade / update activities with customers. Customer Project Manager needs to be able to work independently with the responsibility for leading NM CSE support projects. We are working in close co-operation with our R&D organization and other global organizations so active information sharing is needed all the time.
As part of our team, you will

  • Act as primary project interface to the customer ensuring good customer satisfaction and developing the customer relationship.
  • Share project experience and best practices, knowledge of project management processes, tasks and tools with other project managers.
  • Responsible for internal and external project reporting.
  • Setup and maintain clear and effective internal and external communication within the customer and project teams.
  • Identify, analyze risks, plan and implement risk response actions
  • Ensure the success of NetAct, NOM and NOM Enterprise Solutions and / or other products from Network Management BU.

Your skills and experience
  • 10-15 years of hands-on experience as Developer / Tester in Telecom R&D.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven large project management experience in roles of Product Owners, Product Managers or Customer interfacing roles. -
  • Good know of the various Radio Technologies, Network Management and Cloud Native Technology & Microservices Architecture.
  • Good understanding of Operability and Operator processes
  • PMP certification would be an added advantage.
