POSITION SUMMARY: Customer Marketing Specialist EFS India - is responsible for the marketing of our product solutions to our new and existing customers within India, implementing in country our global product line strategies. The position will also influence the effective market penetration of those products for profitable growth (contribution). This position will work within our regional Marketing Team, in close partnership with the our regional Product Management Team, Local Sales Team and Regional Vertical growth resources, to ensure our product solutions are positioned well within the local market. to develop and execute market promotions, campaigns and training programs for internal and external customers. In addition, he or she will work closely with the Global Product Development organization to drive global and regional product roadmaps and revenue generation from new product introductions on a global basis. He or she will work closely with operations and supply chain to define and implement product line supply strategies including localization as well as local sourcing initiatives. This position is an opportunity to be part of a close cross functional team involved in growing nVent\'s position within the India market. This is a pivotable role, working cross-functionally to help deliver growth through improve product penetration in the local market. Key role responsibilities Understand market trends and potential applications to improve long term strategy of the product road map, align with broader regional and global product roadmaps Identify key competitors and monitor their product lines Identify opportunities for product innovation and improvements to bring into line with local needs Create product/application documents like success stories, case studies, competitive comparisons as foundation for Marketing Activities. Advise Product Management on pricing strategies and product policies Support through organization and planning if local event campaigns to generate product awareness and demand Conduct a local product line analysis in regular base, focusing on product, price, promotion and place aspects of product marketing. Manage and communicate with cross functional teams Put together groups of products and services into solutions for customers and create materials to communicate this as a solution Identify customer pain points and tailor our solutions and value proposition to create value for the customer From time to time assist the APAC team in marketing communications resource development Identify the correct medium to communicate to target audience and develop communications to this audience using this medium Qualifications and Experience Minimum 5 years professional experience in product management, marketing of fastening solutions or similar market within multinational company. A Bachelor degree qualification within engineering and/or marketing. Construction industry experience is preferred Strong relevant background with good business acumen and a strong sales mentality Excellent multi-tasking skills Quantitative and business analysis skills Knowledge of Code & Standard, Approvals and product specifications required by design institutes in related business Fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing REPORTING Reporting directly to the regional nVent EFS Marketing Director.
