Guest Greeting and Arrival:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure.
Offer assistance with seating and ensure guests are comfortable.
Help guests with coat check and other belongings.
Escort VIP guests or special guests to their tables.
Guest Assistance and Information:
Provide information about the restaurant's menu, specials, and promotions.
Offer recommendations and answer questions about the food, drinks, and other services.
Assist with reservations and special requests.
Help guests with transportation arrangements, if needed.
Provide information about the local area and attractions.
Complaint Handling and Issue Resolution:
Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Take ownership of guest issues and work towards a satisfactory resolution.
Collaborate with other staff members to address guest concerns.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate manager, if necessary.
Guest Satisfaction and Feedback:
Proactively engage with guests to gauge their satisfaction levels.
Collect guest feedback through surveys, comment cards, or informal conversations.
Report guest feedback to the relevant departments for continuous improvement.
Maintain guest records and profiles, noting preferences and special requests.
General Responsibilities:
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Monitor guest flow and ensure efficient table turnover.
Assist with event planning and coordination.
Promote the restaurant's services and special offers.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of restaurant policies and procedures.
