Provide menu information and suggest add-ons or specials.
Handle customer queries and complaints politely.
2. Beverage & Food Preparation
Prepare tea, coffee, and snacks as per standard recipes.
Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.
Follow food safety and hygiene standards during preparation.
3. Billing & Cash Handling
Operate POS system and generate bills.
Handle cash, UPI, cards, and ensure accurate cash balancing.
Issue receipts and manage basic sales records.
4. Cleanliness & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of counter, tables, utensils, and equipment.
Follow personal hygiene standards (uniform, apron, gloves, cap).
Comply with FSSAI and food safety guidelines.
5. Stock Handling
Assist in checking daily stock of tea, milk, sugar, cups, etc.
Inform supervisor about low stock or shortages.
Minimize wastage and handle materials carefully.
6. Opening & Closing Duties
Assist in outlet opening and closing activities.
Ensure equipment is switched off and area is secured after closing.
7. Team Coordination
Work as a team member to ensure smooth outlet operations.
Follow instructions from supervisor or manager.
Required Skills & Competencies
Good communication and customer handling skills
Basic knowledge of food & beverage service
Ability to work in shifts and during peak hours
Honest, punctual, and well-groomed
Willingness to learn
Educational Qualification
Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass
Hospitality or F&B training preferred (not mandatory)
Experience
0-2 years of experience in cafe/tea outlet / QSR preferred
