: As the Credit Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the LAP Credit department's operations and strategies. Your primary focus will be on driving business growth, managing credit risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead a team of credit analysts and underwriters, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the LAP Credit department, setting strategic goals and objectives.
• Oversee the credit approval process, ensuring timely and accurate decisions.
• Implement and maintain robust credit policies and procedures, in line with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and analyze credit portfolio performance, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategies to optimize credit utilization and minimize defaults.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance credit management processes.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in credit management, with a proven track record in the banking industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in credit risk assessment and management techniques, including credit scoring models.
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant banking software is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
