JOB Role:
As part of Credit team for Business Loans Finance.
The primary job of the credit manager is to understand:
o the business dynamics,
o products on offer,
o various segments to whom we lend,
- ensuring discipline in adherence to processes involved in credit buying
- Underwriting & making proposals of business loans and other products as per location requirement(LAP-TL, OD, Commercial purchase)
- manage the credit processing agent\'s activities
- ensure systematic verification processes and coordinate with verification agencies
- be up to date on industries we lend and business environment in general,
- take appropriate credit decision,
- monitor the portfolio sourced,
- understand and interpret the portfolio quality
- interact with sourcing agents
- co-ordinate with internal and external auditors
- Qualification - CA with relevant underwriting experience
- Job Knowledge -
o dynamics of international economic events on Indian economy, industry and segments,
o understanding of functioning various industries / segments - cost matrix, competitors, laws applicable
o good understanding of financials to arrive at a decision on lending and recoverability of loans granted.
- Skills & Experience - Ability to analyse news, information, change in laws, financial data and assess its future impact on the business of the loan applicant, segment / industry in which the applicant function, segment in which we operate. Generally strong analytical and futuristic intuitive skills are the need of the job
