We Requires Credit Controller for a textile chemical manufacturing company at Lower Parel Exp : Min 5Yrs Sal : 35K Title/Designation : Credit Controller Location : Lower Parel Job summary As we are dispatching material to pan India with different credit periods it includes 1) Follow up for payment with customers according to their respective credit periods. a) Through mail / Telephonic calls / general letters. b) Deciding to offer /not to offer credit. c) Sending reminder letters to customers. D) Monitor credit period as well as credit value. e) Ensuring customer pay on time. f) To set a monthly target and try to full fill that amount. g) To solve a/c queries with customer as and when required. h) Sometime re arranging credit period with sales team. I) provide monthly reports to sales team. j) Reporting on credit period/ credit value to management for strategic decision making. k) Co-ordination with Concern person for sales returned / reduction on freight matters. l) Co-ordination with Ahmedabad branch on various payment related issues. 2) Decision on full & final settlement as & when needed with the help of management. 3) Personal visit to the customer with sale representative within Mumbai & out of Mumbai.To discuss and clear payment issues 4) Arranging person for collection & to check whether he has visited the places which had stated. 5) Handing daily bank deposits a) Collected by our office person b) Information through net banking c) Information by customer through mail. 6) Ensuring payments received from customers are adjusted against relevant invoices. 7) To pass cheque returned entries. 8) Follow up with cheque bounce cases. 9) To pass necessary credit note/ journal entries as per norms decided by company. 10) Authorization of sales order. a) Monitoring debtors balance (credit period / credit value) to decide on dispatch b) To take a decision on full / part dispatch c) Co-ordination with Management / sales team on decision on hold / short supply of material. 11) Ensuring balance confirmation to be sent on yearly basis. 12) Collection of balance confirmation. 13) Holding outstanding review meeting with Directors. 14) Holding outstanding review meetings with sales team for resolving issues. 15) Assisting legal advisor in default payment matters. a) Initiate legal action against defaulters . b) to brief the case to the advocates c) co-ordinate with advocate as and when required d) To make proper file for submission.
