Department Description
CPO Change & Innovation is responsible for driving change and innovation within CPO. This includes ensuring we prioritise the right initiatives to drive forward our people strategy and meet the needs of Fidelity\xe2\x80\x99s global businesses, and working closely with a broad range of solution providers including Technology, Business Change, and Process Simplification teams to ensure initiatives are successfully implemented and embedded.

Purpose of the Role
CPO is responsible for delivering a wide range of change initiatives to meet the needs of Fidelity\xe2\x80\x99s employees and global businesses. These can include global programmes that enhance the employee experience, drive diversity and inclusion and develop our culture, as well as regulatory initiatives, operational transformation programmes, and small scale enhancements that improve the way we operate.

The purpose of this role is to support the oversight and analysis of these initiatives throughout their journey from an initial idea through to delivery and the realisation of programme benefits. Key deliverables will be the maintenance and enhancement of the CPO single view of change, backlog management, analysis and prioritisation support for Product Owners, the development of portfolio, programme and product roadmaps, and the coordination of the \xe2\x80\x98ideas\xe2\x80\x99 process - capturing requirements and business case details for new initiatives in readiness for review and prioritisation. It\xe2\x80\x99s a crucial role, and an opportunity to be part of something new that will include involvement with a number of strategic change initiatives. The role requires someone self-motivated and pro-active, with strong analytical skills who can clearly articulate concepts and findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support to Product Owners in backlog refinement, analysis, prioritisation and sprint management within JIRA, including the creation and maintenance of Kanbans and dashboards
  • Portfolio management within Product Plan, including the maintenance and visibility of the single view of change across CPO.
  • Creating and maintaining a wide range of portfolio and product documentation including roadmaps, executive summaries, and briefing presentations for project stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Supporting the governance of new ideas and requirements for change, including working with accountable executives to prepare idea templates and business cases for review and prioritisation
  • Collaborating effectively with Business Change and Technology PMO functions to ensure the efficient and effective exchange of information and programme updates
  • Supporting key projects impacting CPO Change & Innovation as required, including providing consultancy on our new roadmap development tool and enhancing our agile delivery model to support the continuous improvement of CPO
  • Undertaking other project administration as required


Experience and Qualifications Required
  • Experience in delivering portfolio and project management services, ideally within an HR environment
  • In depth knowledge of project management & PMO principles, methods, techniques, and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation. To include experience of working with both waterfall and agile project delivery
  • Experience of preparing business cases, and working with business stakeholders to gather and present requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of JIRA, and proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to produce excellent project reporting and presentations to senior stakeholders, and design and maintain intuitive value adding dashboards
  • Highly organised, with the ability to work under pressure or to tight deadlines
