The solution architect is responsible for adapting, promoting and supporting integrated, intelligent solutions for CPG customers to implement Schneider Electric strategy.
The solution architect must possess the ability to build cross-business solutions while understanding the customer context, including all participants, processes, and requirements, as well as the technical complexity arising from the integration of numerous inter-connected components and sub-systems
Solution expert with a strong knowledge of the target application, customer processes and Schneider Electric created solutions. The Local Solution Architect is an expert in this field with Schneider Electric customers & internally in terms of:
Segment customer process knowledge
Segment understanding
Practical experience leading to in-depth customer understanding: 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the targeted segment leading to a good knowledge of customer vocabulary, pain-points, expectations and deliverables
System architecture methodology, starting from customer needs identification
Technical background to understand customer problems & requirements, as well as Schneider Electric\xe2\x80\x99s & the competition\xe2\x80\x99s offers (engineering degree aligned with segment \xe2\x80\x93 mechanical, electrical, electronics & software)
Solution technology (Global geographical standards, understanding of system problems, competitors)

Internally to deal with Solution Architects and business units
Externally to convince customers and standardisation institutions

Background / Experience
Candidate must have relevant experience with customer applications within the desired segment and understand a wide scope of segment related systems and typical possibilities and limitations within the segment
Minimum requirement for the position:
Worked as a Technical engineer or application designer within desired segment for several years
Practical experience leading to in depth customer understanding: 3-5 years experience in the targeted segment leading to a good knowledge of customer vocabulary, sore-points, expectations and deliverables
Expertise in local region and global standards relevant for the desired segment
Expertise in network communication
Knowledge of the electrical distribution, automation offer, IT knowledge and related competitors & customers.
