Front Office Sales Executive - Bakery

Job Summary:

The Front Office Sales Executive is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, promoting bakery products, handling billing and orders (including dine-in and takeaway), and ensuring a pleasant customer experience. The role also includes maintaining display counters, coordinating with production and delivery teams, and managing daily sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Welcome and engage customers with a friendly and professional attitude. Understand customer preferences and suggest suitable bakery items. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints efficiently.

Sales & Billing:

Accurately process sales transactions using POS/billing software. Upsell and cross-sell bakery items to increase sales. Manage cash, card, and online payments responsibly. Maintain daily sales records and submit reports to the manager.

Display & Stock Management:

Ensure bakery display counters are attractive and well-stocked. Coordinate with the production team for replenishment of items. Check expiry dates, freshness, and quality of displayed products.

Order Coordination:

Handle takeaway, WhatsApp, and online orders Ensure correct items are packed and delivered promptly. Maintain coordination with delivery and packing staff.

Housekeeping & Hygiene:

Maintain cleanliness of the front office, counters, and display area. Follow hygiene and food safety standards at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate in any stream. Experience: 1-3 years in bakery, cafe, or food retail preferred. Good communication skills in English and Tamil. Basic computer knowledge (POS/Billing software). Pleasant personality and customer-oriented approach. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

9-10 hours per shift (rotational weekly off). Morning and evening shifts as per store requirement.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹21,610.31 per month
